Extra large handmade white, gold African typha hamper basket with lid in traditional design.
These useful storage baskets are woven in the coil style by binding dried cattail stalks with plastic strips salvaged from a local (prayer) mat factory. The combination of natural and synthetic materials beautifully shows modern African artistry.

This baskets is ideal for use as a washing basket and will look great in your bathroom, bedroom, washing room etc.
This African basket is also perfect to keep children’s toys, pillows and blankets.
